in Kamiyama

2003 Kamiyama Artist in Residence participant Elizabeth Roth is going to be in Kamiyama from August 29 to September 11. A showing of her 2003 work “Pink & Green: 36 Views of Kamiyama” is scheduled, as well as a mini-project entitled “24 Hours / 24 Portraits” where Liz will paint a portrait of a different Kamiyama personage every hour for twenty-four hours, for a total of twenty-four portraits. We’ll post reports of her visit during her stay in the In Kamiyama Diary.

This year marks the tenth anniversary of the Kamiyama Artist in Residence Program. During Liz’ stay, we’ll be holding a reunion party and other related events. We’ll post more details about our plans soon.
