If you are looking for wholesome food, interaction with local kids and dogs, and an experience of old-fashioned Japanese country life, this is the place. The Miyagis often put on local art workshops and music festivals, as well as catering events with their healthy home cooking. They like to share their lifestyle with their guests. This is not accommodation so much as it is a whole experience. They speak pretty good English (but they insist it’s not that good! I don’t believe it!)
