Access: Kamiyama Ski Land is up the hill from the Shimobun Shoe Factory Atelier. Drive, or get a bus to Yorii-naka and arrange for pickup.

Kamiyama Ski Land has never been a ski resort in the strict sense of the word. They used to have a ski lift which would take you to the top of the hill where you could “ski” down on the grass, but that is not in service any more. The attraction now is their rainbow trout farm, the fish of which feature largely on their in-house menu.

Both Japanese style and western style beds are available. You can get a room with an ensuite bathroom or one with a shared bathroom. There is also a large room with a karaoke machine that can be used for parties or workshops. The hiking around here is nice and there are some mysterious structures in the woods nearby!
