Annual year-end party for Winter Rakuon●
It’s our 10th Anniversary!

It’s started as a meeting place for children however we came to realize that it is also a place for adults to have fun! We plan creative events every year for Rakuon-Rakujitsu/Winter Festival but these events aren’t special, they are a part of our daily life. We began to realise that every day is a festival! Every day is filled with awareness that lead us towards a brighter life. Having fun is very important to us so here, and we want to share time with you!
Children play around and the adult’s smile.
Yes, this is what we need.

+About meals
Food coordinator: Rasta man Ui
Using freshly picked vegetable from the local area, he offers an enjoyable Shoku-Iku(education about having a good diet) for everyone!
We want you to think about what it means to take a life away for your food and how important it is to know that by eating another life you accept this life as part of your own.
A festival in a peaceful village begins by sharing food from the same pan.

+Annual Mochi(rice cake) Pounding
Mochi pounding with drums on the last day of festival!
Pounding or Tsui te ru in Japanese is a homonym meaning being lucky!
Pounded Mochi will be cooked in one big pot and served for everyone!
