out of the corner of my eye, i watched the horse give birth…i didn’t offer much help…it was kind of awkward…i thought i would get in the way and complicate the whole matter if i moved any closer…but, i stuck around just in case she LOOKED at me…you know…the LOOK of a scared animal willing to let down its guard and allow another species of animal to help prolong the existence of a foreign genetic code.
