はじめまして。
下分に住む武久エリコです。

この度、初めての個展を神山で開催することになりました。
プラスチックを織り込んだ織物作品と制作途中の思考を文章化したものの展示です。
今度の日曜日からです（土曜日からとお間違いのないように！）

昨今、増大する環境問題の中心に躍り出るようになったプラスチック。
私たちの生活はその便利さによって豊かになった一方、
その存在がもたらす環境への影響は私たちの未来を危ぶむ大きな課題となっています。
この展示は、それらをはじめとした様々な問題意識とともに、
伝統的な祈りの作業である手仕事を続けた結果と思考の軌跡です。
人間と自然、伝統と現代、芸術と科学、視覚と思考。
そして、そこに生まれる、矛盾と共存。

様々な要素が織りなす多面的な物語を、是非この機会に体験してください。
新たな視点で環境問題を見つめ、地球や未来、そして何より、
私たち自身とどう対話していくべきかを再考するための場となれば幸いです。

Plastic has surged to the forefront of the escalating environmental issues of our time. 
While its convenience has enriched our lives, the environmental impact has become a major concern that jeopardizes our future.
Thinking about these environmental issues, this exhibition is the result of engaging in the process of "teshigoto," or handicraft, which is traditionally viewed as a form of prayer.

Humans and Nature, Tradition and Modernity, Art and Science, Vision and Thought.
Contradictions and coexistence are born.

I invite you to immerse yourself in this multifaceted narrative, woven from various elements.
May it serve as a space for reconsidering how we should interact with the earth, our future, and more than anything else, ourselves, by looking at environmental issues from a fresh perspective.

◎Profile◎

1983年千葉出身。
幼少期、親と行く骨董市が好きだった。
高校時代、オーディオのデザインに惹かれ、プロダクトデザインを学びたいと思ったが、
大学を受験するには遅すぎたので御茶ノ水美術専門学校に入学。
友人の影響を受けたグラフィックデザインと元々好きだった写真を学ぶ。
在学中にはじめたバンド活動に専念するために専門学校を中退。
音楽活動中に出会った夫との恋愛に専念するためにバンド解散。

その後はグラフィックや写真の仕事を細々としながら、
写真、絵本、人形、作曲、イラスト、エッセイ、クレイアニメなど、
思いつくまま気の向くままに創作作業を続ける。臨床美術士。主婦。

子供が生まれてからは子育てに専念しながらも創作欲は衰えることなく、
家の中から見えてくるこの世界をいつか表現したいと思い続け、
この度ようやく初個展の開催に至る。

Eriko Takehisa was born in Chiba in 1983.

As a child, she loved going to antique markets with her parents.
In high school, she was attracted to audio design and wanted to study product design, but missed the college exam date. So, she enrolled in Ochanomizu Art College (a vocational school).
Influenced by her friend, she studied graphic design and her original love, photography.
Later, Takehisa dropped out of vocational school to focus on the punk rock band she started with her friends, while in school.
After she met her future husband, the band soon broke up.

Takehisa occasionally worked as a graphic designer and photographer.
She dabbled in photography, picture book making, doll making, music composition, illustration, essay writing, stop-motion animation, etc.
She engages in creative work when she thinks of it. A clinical art therapist. A housewife.

After the birth of her children, Takehisa devoted herself to raising them, but her desire to create never abated. She continued to think that someday she would express the world, as she sees it, from inside her house.

Finally, her first solo exhibition.
