Bizen Pottery Exhibition – Hiroyuki Togawa
Diary 2008.5.28
An exhibition of the works of Hiroyuki Togawa, an up and coming potter who has won awards in Japanese Traditional Handicraft Exhibitions. Bizen-yaki sake cups are the most well-known form for this style of pottery, but bizen-style dishes for daily use are pretty nice too! Fired in an old-fashioned nobori-gama, the colors and textures are really special.
