The largest national event concerning regional information technology, the Rural ICT Future Festival is coming to Kamiyama. Kamiyama will act as a satelite venue for the prefecture-wide event, and feature informative seminars on local information technology initiatives. Other events include a seminar on mobile phone safety, a video game tournament, and displays and sales of local agricultural products.
