Sakura
Diary 2010.4.3
Every evening in Kamiyama (these photos taken in Orono area) the sakura (cherry blossom) is lit by coloured lanterns. It is very beautiful. I’ve also begun to hear chirping noises at night and I am not sure whether they are crickets or frogs. But whoever is making that noise I imagine they are saying ‘Oh the sakura is mega fluffy. How beautiful!’. The sakura is still downy at the moment but I think the trees may begin to loses their flowers and turn green very soon.
Lots of lanterns along the river bank next to the school.
Even more lanterns next to the school.
