Hanami in Orono
Diary 2010.4.10
We met the local boys from Orono. They very kindly invited us to sit under the cherry blossom along the river (under the lanterns which they had strung – see ‘Sakura’ post) and eat grilled food yakiniku and drink alcoholic beverages.
The food was delicious and the company warm. It was clear that these guys are very proud of their area and listening to them talk with passion about the past and the future it was difficult not to feel inspired..
We are looking forward to their next project.. and lending a hand if they need.
