Kamiyama philfarmony is now on!

It’s only been a few days since Rick Willet arrived in Kamiyama but it feels like he’s been here for a long long time.
He’s fit quite happily into the Kamiyama community with his lovely personality and we are all fascinated by him.

He’ll continue researching in and out of town for the Kamiyama Philfarmony Project alongside his hectic schedule including visiting Awa-Odori halls, media coverage, workshops etc., etc…

Rick’s eyes were shining like twinkling stars when we visited the shop of Sato-san- the mighty supporter; Rick found so many interesting ‘instruments’.
He told us that it is the most amazing ‘toy store’ for him.
He couldn’t help it but kept on looking and looking……

Household goods and pipes and bits turned into some fantastic instruments by Rick.

Of course pots can create a harmony too….

What about this one next?

It was so much fun watching him come up with new ideas for the project.
We can’t wait to see the final performance. Don’t miss it!
