Charity workshop in Kitajima

+Report on rhythm universal workshop in Kitajima-cho+
We visited Kitajima-cho with Rick to hold a charity workshop on 22nd May.
This wasn’t our usual workshop but this is a part of a project which aims to heal children emotionally who are affected by the Tohoku earthquake.
Despite the rainy weather, 40 people came to join us which we were very pleased about.
Some of them were convinced to join in after watching Gojikaru- a local TV program we’d been on the other day!
Cute little ones joined us, too!
It started off with Kris san’s description of this project.
We could feel the enthusiasm, and so off we go!
Let’s start with some simple (!) warm-ups!
They don’t seem very athletic but actually they were pretty good.
We mainly used our body and some basketballs for instruments this time.
There should be more pictures of the workshop but it was almost impossible to stop and take pictures because it was soooo much fun we didn’t want to miss anything!
Everyone was smiling which makes us very happy and we believe that this project will head towards the children and people of Tohoku bringing love and care.
