‘I am Gareth.  I am a carpenter and a designer.  I live in London.  I am allergic to cats.  This is my first trip to Japan.
I enjoy drinking strong English tea with milk.
‘I’ve never been to the Awa Odori festival before or even heard of it.  But I like festivals.  I go to watch music festivals and enjoy skanking to some music with a beer in the evening sun.  I’ve been travelling around Japan for the past few weeks.  I thought I saw a bear in Kamibun.’
