BSX Caravan Workshop and Concert

2008-2009 is the Friendship Year for Japan and the Netherlands. In recognition of this, some Dutch artists will be coming to Kamiyama to hold a workshop and concert.
Time: November 30, 2008 (Sunday)
Part 1 – 14:00 – 16:00
Workshop – “Breath and Movement”
Instructor: Brian Tjon Tjauw Liem (Modern Dancer)
Place: Josai High’s Kamiyama Branch School Budokan (martial arts gymnasium)
Part 2 – 16:30 – 17:30
Concert: Flute and Biwa
Musicians: Wil Offermans and Junko Ueda
Place: Yorii-za Theater
Admission: Free, but contact us in advance to say you are coming so we can get an idea of numbers.

BSX Caravan stands for Body and Soul Experience Caravan, and is an annual project started by musical duo Wil Offermans and Junko Ueda in 2007. The event will be different than traditional-style performance. It will feature interaction and cultural exchange where participants can join in creating art and music.
