The BSX Caravan Artists are here! But…
Diary 2008.11.29
(↑The artists take a look at Yorii-za. From the left: Brian, Ms. Ogawa from Kamiyama Onsen, Junko Ueda, Wil, Mr. Wada from Kamiyama Onsen, and Sarah)
Today, the members of BSX Caravan arrived in Kamiyama. They’re scheduled to hold a workshop and concert here tomorrow.
We took them to see the proposed concert venue Yorii-za right away, but apparently Wil has an allergy to rice straw (?) so his flute performance looked like it was bound to be punctuated by percussive sneezing.
Not only that, but there was no space for Brian to do his accompanying dance performance…
We decided to change the venue to the Josai High Kamiyama Branch School martial arts gymnasium (where Pat’s installation has been all month).
(Both the newspaper and NHK have been telling people it’s at Yoriiza…eeps)
I’m sure you’re all thinking this is our typical fly by the seat of our pants style, (ha ha) but actually this event is a part of Kamiyama Onsen’s 15th anniversary celebrations. Green Valley is just lending a helping hand… (ha ha)
We’ve got to make sure to guide the attendees to the correct venue!
To recap:
November 30 (Sunday)
Dance Workshop from 2:00 to 4:00
Flute and Biwa Concert from 4:30 to 5:30
both at Josai High’s Kamiyama Branch School Martial Arts Gynmasium (Budokan)
