Rain dripping from a wasps nest
Diary 2010.10.10
An invitation from Coco and Fumi for lunch with chestnuts and Artists in Residence.
At first we tried using a chainsaw to open the sweet chestnuts but we found it too noisy.
We used our feet instead. Everyone had to wears Converse style trainers in order to be allowed to crack open a chestnut with their feet. If you didn’t have Converse you had to use your hands. Ouch!
My food photography is not very flattering.
It was excellent food.
I heard this year the chestnuts taste less sweet..
A spoonful of chestnut down the hatch.
Next, a spontaneous raindance by Itoi san.
Bravo!
