Keiju Live “Mori no Yoru” Saturday November 8, 18:00 start
Diary 2008.11.7
The exhibition is underway, I’ve mostly prepared for my ICT workshop, and these days I’m having slow, long lunches at Hidenoya, visiting Mutsumi for tea, having chats with Grandma Kawano, taking the car for a scenic drive… I’m finally experiencing ordinary life in Kamiyama.
Now I see what a quiet place Kamiyama is… huh? I see fingers pointing at me…
While working on my art at Yorii-za, I had the valuable experience of living alongside the Kamiyama people and experiencing their lifestyles.
And by hearing the emotional stories of the people who came by, I came to understand how Yorii-za really was a place for holding celebrations.
And with this in mind, I spoke to Keiju and Yukihiro about holding a celebratory event here in the installation space so everyone can experience it and they’ve answered the call.
I’d be honored if everyone could come share this occasion.
